In Russland werden ständig neue Megaprojekte angekündigt, inwiefern diese dann realisiert werden wird die Zukunft zeigen, jedenfalls hört sich dieses Großprojekt sehr interessant an, deswegen hat es auch einen Thread verdient

Hier mal ein paar Randdaten:

Investitionsvolumen: 2,5 Milliarden $
Erwartete Besucherzahlen: 10-12 Millionen jährlich
Fläche: 250 Hektar
Ort: ca. 50km von Moskau entfernt

80% sollen Indoor gebaut werden um auch eine Winteröffnung möglich zu machen

Resort besteht aus mehreren Parks, Hotels und Freizeitangeboten u.a.:

- Thrillridepark
- Familienpark
- Extremsportpark

Magic World Russia will encompass over 600 acres and be comprised of multiple theme park concepts as well as hotels, retail, dining and entertainment venues. It represents a collaboration between Russia and a consortium of industry-leading, California-based companies.
Moschanko Investment Group (MIG 2000), a Beverly Hills, Calif.-based corporation whose Chairman and CEO Gennady Moshkovich has a track record for establishing bilateral business relationships between California and Russia as well as introducing a number of important energy sector technologies and development projects to Russia, is the driving force behind Magic World Russia.
The creation of Magic World Russia, including rides, resorts and experiences, encompasses multiple theme park concepts, will generate thousands of jobs in Russia as well as hundreds in Southern California. Magic World Russia will be the first significant theme park destination developed in Russia and the former Soviet Union territories including Eastern Europe. Magic World Russia is designed to attract 10 million to 12 million visitors a year. Magic World Russia has been designed as both a destination resort for families and visitors who wish to stay for several days, as well as day visitors alike. The 600 acre site is located 30 miles from Moscow and is expected to cost over $2.5 billion.
For the first time in theme park industry, Magic World Russia will devote one of its parks to special needs children called World Without Boundaries. Working with leading special needs children medical and therapeutic experts from around the world to ensure that rides and attractions will be designed specifically to entertain a diverse number of physical and mental disabilities, Magic World Russia’s World Without Boundaries will offer special needs children a memorable and fun experience no matter their handicap.
Among the parks and attractions planned for Magic World Russia, 80 percent of which will be covered in order to offer a year-round experience, are a major Hollywood studio-branded park; a Magic Family Park; Nanopolis Children’s Park; separate waterparks for families and adults; Park Russia, which will draw on the rich Russian culture and folklore as well as Russian accomplishments in the areas of space and Arctic exploration; Thrill Ride Park; Extreme Sports Park; Winter Garden Magic Fountain Park; St. Petersburg City Street; amphitheater/concert/performance hall, designed to be a 15,000-seat live performance theater; and World Without Boundaries Special Needs Children’s Park.

Mal sehen was diesmal so dran ist... für Moskau gibt es ja viele ankündigungen...

Naja den Russen trau ich das schon zu! Kohle haben sie ja!
Indoor ist auch irgendwie klar, denn sonst hätte der Park nur ein paar Monate im Jahr offen, und man würde die investierte Summe nie wieder einnehmen!

Momentan werden wohl diverse Durchführbarkeitsstudien erstellt um zu schauen wie sich dieses Projekt umsetzen und finanzieren lässt und ob es sich später auch lohnt

Die Goddard Gruppe hat neue Parkentwürfe für einen Megafreizeitpark in Russland entworfen.. Ist dies das selbe Projekt?

Ausserdem wird der Park den größten Wasserpark der Welt erhalten.

So wie es aussieht wird das Projekt tatsächlich realisiert.

Man steht in Verhandlungen mit dem Gouvernor.

Gestern wurde ein vertrag mit der Moschanko Investment Group unterzeichnet.

Man will den park bis 2024 realisieren.

Anatoly Artamonov, Governor of Kaluga region and Gennady Moshkovich, President of Moschanko Investment Group – 2000 (MIG) have finally signed the agreement on construction of the “Magic World of Russia” family entertainment park.

- This unique project is symbolizing the national heritages of Russia, its history and culture, - highlighted Gennady Moshkovich upon signing.

“Magic World of Russia” will consist of 12 themed areas each specifically designed both for kids and adults. Among those will be “Our Russia” with interactive tours into the fairytales’ world and 3D-, 4D-, 5D- spaceflights; “Constructor” presenting engineering achievements of the 20[SUP]th[/SUP] century and challenges of the 21[SUP]st[/SUP] century; “Antigravity” set of amusement rides; “Adrenalin” extreme sports’ area; “World without borders” for children with serious diseases and limited physical capacities; and others.

The project implementation will feature such world-renowned companies as Gary Goddard Entertainment, Pro Fun Management Group, Moschanko Investment Group, Millennium Innovations Group, Telma & Boom Architects, AECOM Corporation, Absolute Certainty Architects, White Water Corporation, Vector-Foil-Tech LTD, SanLi Pastore and Hill, WIR Group, WET Design, Premier Rides, WTS International, Wheel O'Art.

Total investment in the project is stated to reach $2bln, and the main phase, 70% of the park area, to be completed by 2024. Yearly, the park will be able to accept over 10 mln visitors. Even the nearby military airfield is expected to be remodeled for commercial aviation.
